Overview

The latest variant, the Falcon 900EX, is also a re-engined 900, in this case powered by the TFE 731-60. The 900EX incorporates an advanced cockpit avionics suite, has an increased MTOW, landing weight and fuel capacity, and is offered as an extended range model of the already long-range 900-series. The Falcon 900EX made its first flight in June 1995, and first delivery was made in May 1996. The Falcon 900EX continued production with 240 aircraft in service through 2010. The Falcon 900EX can accommodate as many as eighteen passengers in a high density arrangement, but is more commonly configured to seat eight to twelve in a three-lounge executive arrangement. The 900EX is wide enough to seat three abreast. A 127 cu.ft. baggage area is accessible from the cabin area and also from outside the aircraft.
