The C90 series began in 1971 and incorporated the -20 engine, but in 1976 production switched to the 550shp PT6A-21 and continued with this engine variant through the follow-on C90-1 in 1982.The King Air C90 is found in a variety of configurations, typically six or seven-passenger executive seating with a four-place club, a seat directly across from the airstair door, and a belted lavatory seat. The aft cabin/lavatory area has 26.5 cu. ft. of baggage space. The King Air C90 is powered by a pair of Pratt & Whitney of Canada PT6A-21 turboprop engines flat-rated at 550shp each at ISA +18C. Inspection interval on the engines is 3,600 hours.
