The aircraft is designed to fill the gap between the XLS+ and the Sovereign in the Citation lineup. The main seating area has a 4 seat club arrangement with 2 additional forward-facing chairs. Standard configuration features a right-side 2-seat divan in the forward cabin. The Latitude has 3.6 in. more height and 11 in. more width than legacy midsize Citations. Further, the main air-stair entry door is 5.5 ft high and 2.6 ft wide. The Latitude is powered by 2 P&WC PW306D turbofan engines rated at 5730 lb. thrust at takeoff. The engines are conventional twin-spool with a single-stage fan powered by a three-stage low pressure turbine. A two-stage high pressure turbine powers a compressor section of 4 axial flow stages and 1 centrifugal flow stage. The exhaust nozzles are canted inward to reduce ground minimum control speeds.
