The Cessna Citation CJ2+ was announced at the 2004 NBAA convention, and is the successor to the Citation CJ2. Compared to the CJ2, the CJ2+ offers customers enhanced performance and a more advanced avionics suite. The CJ2+'s center club seating arrangement enables four occupants to face each other, and includes two additional seats. The cabin of the Citation CJ2+ has standard items that include 110 volt electrical outlets, a belted flushing toilet, and indirect LED lighting. The exterior baggage storage compartments provide ample space for extended trips. Propulsion for the CJ2+ is generated by two Williams FJ44-3A-24 turbofan engines equipped with a dual channel Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC). The FJ44-3A-24 shares architecture similar to that of the CJ3's FJ44-3A engine, but it rated at 2,490 pounds of thrust. The inspection interval of the engine is 4,000 hours.
