In August of 1927, Cessna changed the world of aviation and set the standard with its new cantilever design. Cessna set out to once again realize the next generation of aircraft. During the 2004 NBAA convention, Cessna unveiled their newest aircraft: the Citation CJ1+ and CJ2+, which represent the next generation of the company's popular Citation CJ1 and CJ2 lines of light business aircraft. The CJ1+, the successor to the market-placing Citation CJ1, offers customers heightened performance, new integrated avionics and a host of enhanced features and standard equipment. The CJ1+ is powered by two Williams International FJ44-1AP dual cahnnel FADEC controlled turbofan engines rated at 1,965 pounds of thrust each. The inspection interval on the engines is 3,500 hours.
